William Hill Partners With NetEnt

No one can say that the recently announced partnership between William Hill PLC and Net Entertainment isn't something very dynamic. And it's just another step forward for a producer of games that have caught everybody's eye.

William Hill is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious names in the gaming world. The largest bookmaker in Britain is an innovative outfit in its own right, and it is one of the most versatile, as it offers a number of different products, including casino, sports and poker. They operate online, as well as in many land-based offices throughout the United Kingdom. And they are making a big move into mobile, which is part of the rationale behind the deal with NetEnt, which is going to supply games for the online casino and mobile gaming package.

According to Bjorn Krantz, the head of NetEnt, it is an essential part of the company's growth strategy in the U.K. market, which they are targeting very heavily. And he is very pleased at the vote of confidence being sent his company's way with the new arrangement. "We are convinced that our games will be well received by William Hill's player base," he says.

There is no reason why they shouldn't be. Net Entertainment is a great partner because the Swedish-based developer is a very forward-thinking company, dedicated to designing slot games that are truly cutting-edge.

Outstanding graphics and interesting themes characterize many of the NetEnt releases, and that has been seen in some of the more popular titles they have had. Scarface was brought into the market last year and proved to be a sensation, as it had real clips from the film and was able to replicate the movie's explosive action. In the last month the company's "South Park" slot was introduced and is going to make a big impact in the marketplace. The company has produced many online games - both table games and slot offerings - that have later been adapted to the mobile market. In the case of the South Park slot, both of those versions are rolling out simultaneously.

Net Entertainment is also innovative in the sense that it provides for a lot of convenience on the part of the player in terms of being able to open up several windows with different games.

This company has been around for over a decade, although a lot of online gambling enthusiasts are just starting to discover what they're able to do.

James Curwen, who is the head of gaming at William Hill, complemented NetEnt for being, in his words, "one of the leading suppliers of best in breed online casino content in the market today." He points out that the games provided by NetEnt will be appearing on all platforms the customers play on.

It was unclear whether all of the NetEnt games would be available through William Hill within a particular time frame, or whether it would limited to a certain selection. Either way, this looks like it could be one of those marriages made in heaven.
